A new day will soon arrive!
For the past few months, we all have been feeling hopeless. Especially for the fire victims of Brgy. Tugatog, Malabon City, what a difficult situation couldn’t get any worse. Last September 5, fire struck the houses of over 100 families and they were left with almost nothing during this pandemic.
sunRISE, an initiative of the UP DOST Scholars’ Association, is a donation drive which seeks to help the families affected by the fire. The aim is to raise at least Php 53,000 in order to provide them with grocery packs which include basic necessities that they need.
In celebration of our 41st anniversary, there will be a raffle event and an online concert in order to raise funds for the fire victims of Malabon. Join us on November 30 as we listen to our favorite OPM artists like Amiel Sol, Dez and Del, and Shirebound & Busking! Also, don’t miss some of the most promising bands and homegrown talents from the university and other local artists that will complete your day towards sunRISE. You may also get a chance to win Php 2,500 worth of gift certificate from Mystery Manila and other exciting prizes as the raffle draw is conducted during the online concert.
