From the Streets to the Spreads: Bringing Stephan Holzinger’s “Moments of Life, Live Moments” to Life
Last January 27, 2026, the Rotary Club of Makati, together with Design For Tomorrow, hosted a vernissage launching Stephan Holzinger’s debut monograph, Moments of Life, Live Moments. The event gathered over a hundred entrepreneurs, executives, and Rotary members to witness a collection that transforms ordinary urban scenes into profound reflections on humanity.

The Art of Looking: A Dialogue on Leadership and Light
A self-taught street photographer, Stephan Holzinger captures the poetry of everyday life. After decades of representation, foreign relations, and negotiations, his perspective shifted to a lifetime’s pursuit of clarity—with images distilling light, piercing complexity, and resilience. A bloom in silence. Through his lens, unguarded impressions become an invitation to honor life’s unadorned edges—the everyday, just as it is.
During the launch, Holzinger, joined by his children Maximillian and Maike, shared his insights, facilitating a dialogue on the parallels between leadership and street photography. As venture capital leader Rina Neoh later wrote: “Technology can replicate an image. It cannot replicate lived experience. Because leadership, like photography, is ultimately about perspective.”
Hope Through Every Page: A Mission for the Streets
All proceeds from the sale of the book and the framed prints exhibited during the launch are donated in full to:
- The Rotary Club of Makati’s THREEE AI Academy, chaired by Rotarian Roger Collantes, is a multi-month program that introduces students from underserved communities to artificial intelligence and future-oriented skills.
- ANAK-Tnk – Tulay ng Kabataan Foundation Inc., founded by Fr. Matthieu Dauchez, which has provided shelter, education, health care, and protection to street children in Metro Manila since 1998.
Holzinger personally covered all production costs, ensuring that all proceeds from the book and framed prints are donated in full to uplift underprivileged youth.

Framing the Pulses: Curating from Photography to Publication
The monograph was designed and produced by Design For Tomorrow (DFT), a top branding, strategy, and design consultancy with offices in Manila and Singapore. The book’s curatorial notes were written by Ric Gindap, DFT’s Creative Director, who also curated the vernissage in collaboration with the Rotary Club of Makati. A photographic print exhibition at Spruce Gallery in Ortigas Center, also curated by Gindap, will be held from March 14 to 19, 2026, to extend the project’s public presentation.
The European edition of the book will also be released in the coming weeks with the same mission: “From the streets, for the streets.”
