Marlou Arizala, aka Xander Ford, has been placed under indefinite suspension by his talent agency Star Image Artist Management amid rape allegations made by his former girlfriend.
It was back in June when his non-showbiz ex came forward with her story in a now-deleted social media post wherein she accused the celebrity of coercing her to perform intercourse and also showed photos of the bruises and scratches she received from him.
Xander has since denied the allegations and said he will settle the matter privately with his ex.
On Wednesday, Star Image addressed the ongoing issue and announced that it will be suspending Xander until he is “cleared without any criminal liability.” The agency also said that Xander will be fined for breach of contract if proven guilty.
“No one is above the law,” the agency said. “May this serve you a lesson.”
Last week, Xander made headlines for coming out as bisexual and for introducing his male partner to the public.
