It’s Serena’s favorite kind of ‘love’.
According to ESPN, the tennis star’s sister Venus confirmed that Serena “had her first baby on Friday“. She delivered a baby girl at St. Mary’s Medical Center in West Palm Beach, Florida.
The same publication reported that Serena “revealed in April that she was pregnant, posting a selfie on Snapchat with the caption “20 weeks” and later confirming that she and fiancé Alexis Ohanian were expecting their first child.”

Williams’ coach Patrick Mouratoglou confirmed the news on his Twitter account, congratulating the athlete as well as her husband-to-be.

When Williams found out she was pregnant, she described it as a moment when her heart “dropped, like it literally dropped.” She even “did a double take” upon seeing the test results, as reported to E! News.
Williams won her 23rd Grand Slam singles title at the Australian Open last January 28 according to NY Times, where she was already two months pregnant at that time.
