“The University of the Philippines is the most respected educational institution in the country. The attraction of UP is not just its basketball program, which just gets better each year, but the world-class education it is known for,” Paras tells Ikot.ph. “I look forward to the challenge of helping make the Fighting Maroons a better basketball team, and the challenge of helping myself become a better student.”
According to Ikot.ph, Paras has represented the Philippines as being a part of the 2017 William Jones Cup, the 2017 Southeast Asian Games lineup and also “represented the Philippines in FIBA 3×3 tournaments”.
Other than Paras, other recent additions include former University of Perpetual Help Dalta player Bright Akhuetie and former DLSU Green Archer Ricci Rivero.
Congratulations and good luck!
