KATSEYE’s Sophia Laforteza and The Pussycat Dolls’ Nicole Scherzinger just had a heartwarming encounter!

The two met when KATSEYE watched the Broadway musical “Sunset Boulevard,” which stars Nicole. The global girl group posted snaps with her and the cast of the musical on their official social media pages.

Sophia shared their interaction on Instagram stories, revealing Nicole said “represent” when she learned the KATSEYE leader was from the Philippines.
“Mother said ‘represent’ when I told her I was from the Philippines,” she beamed.

Sophia also talked about how Nicole has inspired her and helped her reignite her passion.
“Studying her for years, she has inspired who I am today,” she wrote. “Today, she helped reignite a passion I’ve had for years before.”
She then thanked Nicole for giving her another dream role, “Thank you for giving me yet another dream role. The first was being in a girl group with my katz (KATSEYE).”

Sophia is the first Filipino artist signed under HYBE. She is the daughter of actress Carla Guevara and chef Godfrey Laforteza. Meanwhile, Nicole, whose father is Filipino, has always expressed pride in her Filipino roots.
