Megastar Sharon Cuneta and acclaimed actor Alden Richards are teaming up for the first time in an upcoming film!
In an Instagram post, the actress happily revealed that she will star in a new movie under Cineko Productions directed by Nuel Naval, with Alden as her son.

“My new movie is under Cineko Productions and Direk @directfromncn with a script by Mel Del Rosario – co-starring my new movie son, the one and only @aldenrichards02 !!!,” she wrote.

The Megastar shared that they are also attending workshops for the movie.
“In photo are all of us and Workshop Facilitator (and girl with awesome pedigree – her mom is Direk Laurice Guillen and her dad is the late Johnny Delgado!) Ina Feleo! Thank You Lord for a great project! Super excited!!!,” she added.
On a separate Instagram post, Alden also confirmed the news with a photo of him and Cuneta together. “Excited for this,” he captioned.

Sharon’s last big screen appearance was in the 2021 movie, Revirginized. She was also reported to star in the film adaptation of The Mango Bride. Meanwhile, Alden will be a part of the much-awaited film Five Break-ups and a Romance with Kapamilya actress Julia Montes.
