Shaira Diaz and EA Guzman are engaged! The celebrity couple announced the news on February 16 on “Unang Hirit” and revealed that they’ve been engaged since December 25, 2021.
“Yes, mga Kapuso and ‘UH’ fam, Shaira and I are engaged,” Guzman announced, along with Diaz showing off her ring.

The actor emphasized that they kept their engagement private because he respects his fiancée a lot and he’s willing to wait for her “right time.”
He added, “Ni-respect ko lang ‘yung time niya. I know pag nag-propose ako, baka mag-no siya sakin, that’s the truth. Pero naniwala ako sa pagmamahal niya and alam niya pag nag-propose ako sa kanya, pag nag-yes siya [I respect her time. I know when I propose she might say no, that’s the truth. But I believed in her love and she knows I’ll propose to her when she said yes].”
Diaz shared photos from the engagement on Instagram with the caption, “From ‘me’ to ‘we’, to FOREVER.”

Meanwhile, Guzman showed a video of his heartwarming proposal in 2021. He wrote in the caption, “What happened on 12.25.21. ‘THE PROPOSAL.'”
The backdrop was adorned with flowers and words written, “Will you marry me?” The actress-host even got emotional as Guzman proposed to her.
