Saab Magalona proudly revealed that her son, Pancho, got accepted to a regular school! He was diagnosed with cerebral palsy, a group of neurological disorders that affect movement and muscle posture.
On Instagram, the singer-actress shared a video of Pancho happily visiting his new school, accompanied by his father, musician Jim Bacarro.
“It was recommended by his neurodevelopmental pediatrician that he surround himself with his peers and go to school,” Saab wrote.
She said her birthing trauma led to skepticism and initially thought of letting her son stay home, as she feared for her child’s safety.
“I learned that parents with birthing trauma have a hard time sending their kids to school and sometimes we can even get competitive with the teachers. It’s been a struggle but I know in my heart this is what’s good for Pancho. This is good for me and Jim, too,” she acknowledged.
The celebrity mom expressed her excitement for Pancho’s schooling journey and asked for prayers for his first year!

“Also praying for Cheng who will be accompanying him everyday in school. Thank you, virtual ninangs and ninongs!” she concluded.
Saab suffered from serious complications in giving birth to Pancho in 2018 and lost her baby girl, Pancho’s twin, Luna Isabella, during the process. In 2019, Saab and Jim welcomed their second child, Vito Tomas.
