RuPaul’s Drag Race winners Sasha Colby and Krystal Versace recently performed at the HalloQueen Ball in Manila at Baked Studios.
Colby, a pageant legend who won the Miss Continental competition in 2012, was crowned America’s next drag superstar in the 15th and latest season of the drag competition. Meanwhile, Versace won the third season of RuPaul’s Drag Race UK at 19, becoming the youngest to win the crown in any Drag Race franchise.
They were joined by beloved contestants from the second season of Drag Race Philippines like Bernie, M1ss Jade So, Arizona Brandy, Hana Beshie, and Tiny Deluxe.
Some of the Philippines’ top drag queens also performed, including Yudipota, Slaytina, and Drag Den‘s Aries Night.
The HalloQueen Ball was hosted by OV Cunt, who also competed in the second season of Drag Race Philippines.

Colby performed two songs in the much-awaited event. The first was Loleatta Holloway’s “Love Sensation,” where she stunned the audience with her moves, “hairography,” and orange fringe dress.
In keeping with the event’s Halloween theme, Colby closed the show with a bloody performance of She Wants Revenge’s “Tear You Apart.”
A highlight of the event was Colby’s neck crack, which she introduced to fans in the “All Queens Go to Heaven” episode of RuPaul’s Drag Race.
Versace also performed two numbers, the first of which was to Lesley Gore’s “You Don’t Own Me” in a Catwoman costume. The number calls back to her final lipsync in the Grand Finale of RuPaul’s Drag Race UK.
Versace’s second performance is to a remix where she showcased her voguing skills. Voguing is a style of dance that evolved out of the Harlem ballroom scene of the 1960s. It features a fast montage of poses as if modeling for a photo shoot in a magazine like Vogue.
HalloQueen ended with a ball, where attendees modeled their costumes, which Colby and Versace judged.
