ANTM fans rejoiced at the news that America’s Next Top Model is being un-cancelled, and it seems that more details on its rebirth are resurfacing!
These juicy updates include *gasp* a new host!
That’s right, Tyra Banks is passing on the microphone to someone else… and this new host is not a model!
Singer and fashionista Rita Ora will be taking over Tyra’s spot as host, and she couldn’t be more thrilled about it!
Rita has previously been on the small screen as judge for shows such as X Factor and The Voice.
According to reports, Rita is on cloud nine right now, as she’ll be mixing her two passions of fashion and music and taking over from a TV institution in Tyra.
The Top Model bosses apparently picked Rita, as they wanted “a freshness to the format” and Rita was “the ideal new face”. She’ll also be releasing a new single to coincide with her sweet hosting gig!
Tyra of course has nothing but sweet words for Rita, as it was in fact her idea to have the singer come on board the show!
The new season America’s Next Top Model will be airing on VH1 later this year.
