In news that will make many feel old, Sophia Grace Brownlee, who made a name for herself on The Ellen DeGeneres Show, is now pregnant.
Brownlee made a name for herself in 2011 when she and her cousin Rosie McClelland sang and danced to Nicki Minaj’s song “Super Bass” on Degeneres’ show. The duo has appeared on the show over 30 times, even meeting Minaj and performing the song with her, and guesting on the show 11 years later.
Today, Brownlee is 19 years old while McClelland is 16.
Brownlee announced her pregnancy on YouTube, saying, “The reason I left it so long is because I always want to make sure everything’s completely fine and that, you know, everything’s safe (with the baby).”
She added, “I’m sure a lot of you are going to be very shocked because it probably was quite unexpected. I was very shocked when I first found out. I’ve gotten used to it now and I’m super, super, happy about it.”
She is currently 21 weeks pregnant.
