Purrfect Match, a volunteer-run adoption drive, is returning for its second year this March—and this time with two back-to-back weekends at Makati cafés. Cat lovers and aspiring fur parents are invited to this cozy gathering to meet feline rescues, get to know them through their foster caregivers, and shop for cat-themed merchandise.
Meet a future best furriend on Saturday, March 14, from 10:00 AM to 6:00 PM at ODD Café, Salcedo, and on Sunday, March 22, from 10:00 AM to 3:00 PM at Commune Café, Poblacion.
This exclusive two-day adoption drive and cat-lover community event invites guests to meet and play with sweet and colorful feline adoptables.
The event is organized by a joint team from Mina’s Dream Space and Cats of Verdana. Both initiatives support community cats through TNVR programs (trap, neuter, vaccinate, return), rescue, fostering, and eventual adoption.
Their collective goal is to promote responsible pet ownership and connect the cats with pawrents who can provide them with loving forever homes.
Registration is PHP 200, which goes directly to maintaining a safe and comfortable space for the cats to meet visitors. Adoption is completely free, but applicants will undergo a screening process to ensure each cat goes to the most compatible home. Same-day adoptions will not take place at the event, but approved adopters may bring their cats home after the screening process is completed.
Year two of Purrfect Match brings double the roster of fosters. Among the 20+ adoptables are playful kittens, calm and affectionate adults, and several chonky cats. There are also bonded pairs—deeply attached duos who must be adopted together, offering double the personality and companionship.

Visitors can also explore community booths offering tarot readings and merchandise from Blue Lemodane, Feeplings, Midnight Melts, and Mina’s Dream Space. Proceeds support ongoing rescue efforts and foster care.

Those who wish to donate in kind are welcome to bring cat food and vitamins to help sustain the daily care of community cats. Bulky items or pet furniture are not recommended.
This gathering is founded on the hope that every foster cat finds the home they deserve. It aims to create more spaces where rescues and compassionate adopters can connect and begin a journey toward meaningful companionship.
