Private individuals and corporate members of Hotel Sales & Marketing Association Intl (HSMA), Philippine Tourism & Hospitality Officers & Marketers Association (PHILTHOMA), Tourism Congress of the Philippines (TCP), and Philippine Travel Agencies Association (PTAA) have collaborated to show their support for Boracay. Under the umbrella group, #OneBoracay, Save Boracay, their mission is to show solidarity with the government and all the communities and stakeholders in Boracay.

The groups will conduct a Beach Front Clean Up activity (in Boracay) on Monday, April 16, from 5:00 am to 9:00 am.  Meeting point is at the Rieseling Boracay Resort on Bolabog Beach.  This will be followed by a Job Fair at 1:00 pm, to be held at the Paradise Garden Resort and Convention Center in Manggayad, Manoc Manoc.

‚ÄúWe want to show our love for¬†Boracay and for the thousands of workers¬†that will be displaced due to the closure,‚ÄĚ HSMA president Christine Ibarreta remarked. ¬†‚ÄúWe know that this small gesture will not even make a dent, but we are¬†willing¬†to help and this is¬†just one of¬†the activities we are planning to¬†organize,‚ÄĚ TCP president Jose Clemente III added.

I√Īigo Pascual,¬†Piolo Pacual,¬†Nadine Lustre,¬†James Reid,¬†Sen. Joel Villanueva,¬†Giselle Sanchez,¬†Diana Meneses,¬†Sam YG,¬†Toni and¬†Slick of Boys Night Out,¬†Ogie Alcasid and¬†Regine Velasquez have expressed their support and have ordered their One¬†Boracay, Save Boracay¬†t-shirts. ¬†Part of the proceeds from the sale of the t-shirts will go to one of the¬†Malay tourism cooperatives or associations.
