“Breakups are never easy.”
This is what beauty queen Pia Wurtzbach said in response to a follower’s question on her Instagram stories, asking her what to do when “going through a tough breakup.”
Pia, who had been doing a Q&A, answered a handful of queries and shared insightful messages as a way of reconnecting with her fans.
She revealed that she got “a few questions” about moving on from heartache and expressed sadness for what they’re going through.
“Real talk – it’s all about perspective. Instead of thinking of a break up as a “loss” I used to see it as an opportunity to start again. Another chance. Clean slate kumbaga,” she continued.
“So I learn from the relationship and I used all the free time I have to work [on] myself. Notice how you have so much time on your hands now – use that. Find a new hobby, get into a healthy lifestyle, magpaganda ka, spend time with your friends, write down some goals. It’s an opportunity to restart your life as a new better version of yourself. It’s okay to feel bad, cry, be angry… but use that energy and that fuel FOR YOU. Think of all the things you could be!”
She then revealed that she had been “heartbroken” when she first started doing beauty pageants but transformed that negative energy into hard work toward her success.
“Trivia when I started joining pageants I was newly heartbroken! But instead of sulking I put all my energy on my goals – and it worked! Things align [so] just keep moving!” she concluded.
Pia is currently married to Jeremy Jauncey following an intimate beach ceremony at North Island, Seychelles last March which they only announced had happened in May.
