Pia Wurtzbach is now a cat person! She took to social media to share a lovely “story time,” upon spending time with her cousin’s adopted cat, Lucas.
Along with adorable photos and a clip of them cuddling together, The Miss Universe 2015 opened up about her fear of cats when she was a kid.
“Never in my life did I imagine that I would like cats. I used to be scared of them because I didnโt have much experience with cats during my childhood. Even in my adult life, whenever Iโd visit friends who had cats, I would always be so nervous touching, petting, carrying themโฆbecause I didnโt know how!” [sic] she wrote.

Pia said it all changed after meeting Lucas, especially since her cousin often visits her house and brings Lucas. She described him as playful and sweet.
The beauty queen was even surprised to learn more about cats, which she happily shared with her followers!
“And my gosh.. cats are so easy pala. You only have to teach them ONCE where the cat litter is and thatโs it. Automatic na. They know where to go,” she added.
She was also delighted about how independent cats are, “Theyโre independent, donโt need constant attention, and have simple joys in life. Expensive toys? No way. Lucas loves an empty cardboard box and will have fun for hours.”
