The Philippine passport is gaining global recognition for its stunning design!
Hong Kong-based contemporary culture and lifestyle company Hypebeast featured the Philippine passport on its list of the world’s most aesthetic passports.

“After Switzerland unveiled its newly designed passport, we rounded up some of the best-designed passports from around the world,” the caption read.
Hypebeast further emphasized the Philippine passport’s “iconic Philippine eagle” design on its flip cover.

Other passports on the list include those of Norway, Canada, Hong Kong, Japan, Finland, New Zealand, Hungary, and Belgium.
The Philippines issues three types of passports: maroon passports for Filipino citizens traveling for general purposes, red passports for government officials and employees on official business, and dark blue passports for diplomats, Cabinet members, and other high-ranking government officials.
Among them, the maroon passport earned a spot on Hypebeast’s list of the world’s most aesthetic passports.
According to the latest Henley Passport Index, the Philippines ranks 75th among the world’s most powerful passports, dropping two spots from its 73rd place in 2024.
The Philippine passport currently grants visa-free access to 67 countries.
