In celebration of Women’s Month this March, the Philippine Coast Guard (PCG) is proud to announce its initiative to provide free rides for women every Wednesday at the Parañaque Integrated Terminal Exchange (PITX) starting tomorrow (March 6, 13, and 20), Gate 10 Bay 5, this free ride will ply from PITX to MOA, and Araneta, Cubao.
As part of its commitment to gender equality and women’s empowerment, the PCG is extending its services to offer complimentary transportation to all women passengers traveling through PITX. This initiative aims to recognize the invaluable contributions of women to society and to promote their active participation in various sectors, including transportation.
The PCG and PITX encourage women from all walks of life to take advantage of this opportunity to travel safely and conveniently. By providing free transportation, the PCG and PITX hope to contribute to the celebration of Women’s Month and to demonstrate its unwavering support for gender equality and women’s rights.
