“Pinoy Big Brother: Celebrity Collab 1” former housemate Josh Ford underwent five surgeries.

In a social media post on June 6, Josh shared an update following a series of successful surgeries involving his nose and ears. Accompanying the post was a photo of him lying in a hospital bed.
“Finally nangyari na,” he wrote. “Septoplasty, uncinectomy, polypectomy, left turbinectomy, and left myringoplasty done.”
“Thank You Lord for a successful surgery. Praying for a smooth recovery and better days ahead,” he added.
The post saw an overwhelming amount of positive and supportive messages from fans as they rooted for his speedy recovery.
“We’re so happy for you, Joshy!!” one fan wrote. “The fruit of all your hard work. Very well-deserved. Praying for your smooth recovery.”
Another social media user commented: “Get well soon, Josh… Praying for [a] fast recovery. Maraming supporters ang nagmamahal sayo. Pagaling ka, Josh.”
The 21-year-old actor thanked fans in the comments section for their continuous support.
“Thank you everyone for all the love and support. Sobrang thankful ako sa inyong lahat. Salamat sa mga dasal at pag-check up sa akin. Gagaling din ako soon,” he commented.
According to the Cleveland Clinic, a septoplasty is a surgical procedure that corrects a deviated septum to improve breathing. An uncinectomy involves the surgical removal of a small, hook-shaped bone inside the nasal passage to improve airflow through the nose.
Then, a polypectomy is a minimally invasive procedure that removes a polyp from an organ or body cavity. While polyps are typically benign, some can be cancerous.
Meanwhile, a left turbinectomy, also known as turbinate reduction surgery, removes excess tissue and reduces the size of the turbinates—small bony structures inside the nose—to improve airflow in people with chronic nasal obstruction.
Finally, a myringoplasty is a surgical procedure that repairs a ruptured eardrum. The procedure was necessary after a tragic car accident in 2023 left him with a perforated eardrum.
During his stint on “Pinoy Big Brother: Celebrity Collab,” the actor shared that he was the lone survivor of the crash, which claimed the lives of young actor Andrei Sison, driver Paolo Bueza, and another passenger, Arman Velasco.
