According to DPWH Secretary Mark Villar, the ‘superstructure’ that connects Lawton Avenue Makati and Sta. Monica St. Pasig is already finished.

The project is set to be a four-way, two-lane bridge to cater to more vehicles traveling from Bonifacio Global City to the Ortigas Business District.

Aside from the partial opening, also part of the project is the Global City Viaduct.

The BGC-Ortigas link is measured at 1.367km and is part of the Metro Manila Logistics Network that is supposed to cut the one-hour drive to 12minutes. The project will help ease traffic along EDSA and C5 for motorists and to improve accessibility to major cities like Makati, Pasig, Mandaluyong, and Taguig.
