Olivia Rodrigo said she wants to have a concert in the Philippines “soon,” as revealed in her recent interview with Rolling Stone! The Filipino-American singer-songwriter emphasized that she has “plans” to visit the country.
She even acknowledged her Filipino roots, “People there are so welcoming and hospitable and awesome.” As quoted by Rolling Stone, she added, “Filipino people ride for other Filipino people.”

Olivia’s father is of Filipino descent, while her mother is German-Irish. She has also been open about her Filipino heritage, which came from her great-grandfather, who emigrated from the Philippines as a teenager.

She rose to fame in 2020 with her debut single Drivers License, followed by Deja Vu and Good 4 U. Earlier this month, she released her second studio album, GUTS.
