Hi Vince,
we love your blog, WhenInManila.com, and commend you on such fabulous content!! Here is a some of our work we shot in 3 weeks, that we want to share with Manila and the world.
It is work in progress. Richeille is my partner and art director, I have been shooting for over 20 years and been based out of NYC since the 90’s. We just fell in love with the Philippines and will be returning in Feb 2012 to carry on this project.
Images dealing with want and need, images dealing with the complexities and incongruities of the Philippine culture, the impact of its colonial past and the unique influences of its geography. We managed to hook up with Elite models (alisa and pauline), travelled Palawan with Valerie Weigman and stylist Patrick Galang. Would’ve loved to shoot more fashion stories but split the work between real people and editorials.
