Niall Horan’s First Solo Album Scores No. 1 on Billboard 200 Chart

Niall Horan has made it to No. 1 on the Billboard 200 album chart with his debut solo album, ‘Flicker,’ becoming the third member of One Direction to do so. Group member Harry Styles (with his self-titled album earlier in 2017) and former group member Zayn Malik (with ‘Mind of Mine’ debut album in 2016) were the firsts to score the No. 1 spot on the chart.

Flicker was released last October 20 through Capitol Records, selling 152,000 equivalent album units, 128,000 of that were in traditional album sales, in one week as recorded by Nielsen Music.

In addition, with Horan’s Billboard solo No.1, the British boy group One Direction has joined The Beatles as the only other act with three members that have a solo No. 1 each.
