Malacañang has declared public holidays in several parts of the country, as President Ferdinand Marcos Jr. signed 13 proclamations recognizing local festivals and founding anniversaries in various communities.
Here’s a list of new holidays in the following localities for June and July:
June 25:
- 63rd founding anniversary of Sabangan, Mountain Province (special non-working holiday)
- 62nd founding anniversary of Calanasan, Apayao (special non-working holiday)
July 1:
- 63rd founding anniversary of Pangantucan, Bukidnon (special non-working holiday)
- 69th founding anniversary of Maramag, Bukidnon (special non-working holiday)
- 65th charter anniversary of San Carlos, Negros Occidental (special non-working holiday)
- 69th founding anniversary of Kibawe, Bukidnon (special non-working holiday)
- 112th founding anniversary of Dipolog, Zamboanga del Norte (special non-working holiday)
July 15
- Araw ng Mauban (special non-working holiday)
- 38th founding anniversary of Cordillera Administrative Region (special non-working holiday)
July 18
- Padigosan Festival in Digos City, Davao del Sur (special non-working holiday)
July 21
- 13th cityhood anniversary of Mabalacat, Pampanga (special non-working holiday)
- 76th founding anniversary of Municipality of Maria Aurora, Aurora (special non-working holiday)
July 25
- Sinulog sa Tanjay Festival in Tanjay City, Negros Oriental (special non-working holiday)
