It’s all green lights with the highly-anticipated sequel of “Squid Game”! A new set of players who are joining its second season have been revealed, along with its returning cast members!
In a recent announcement, Netflix confirmed the return of unforgettable characters Seong Gi-Hun, Hwang Jun Ho, The Front Man, and The Salesman with Lee Jung-jae, Lee Byung-Hun, Wi Ha-jun, and Gong Yoo reprising their roles! In fact, they have already begun table reading earlier this week, as seen on the recently uploaded photos by the streaming platform.

Meanwhile, the new “Squid Game” players are “Unlocked” actor Yim Si-wan, “The Heirs” actor Kang Ha-neul, “The Glory” actor Park Sung-hoon, and South Korean rapper Yang Dong-geun. All of them were also present at the recent table reading.

Also joining season two are “It’s Okay to Not Be Okay” actress Park Gyu-young, former Iz*One member Jo Yu-ri, “No, Thank You 2” actress Kang Ae-sim, “Itaewon Class” actor Lee David, “Glass Castle” actor Lee Jin-uk, K-pop star Choi Seung-hyun a.k.a. T.O.P, “Missing Yoon” actor Roh Jae-won, and “If You Wish Upon Me” actress Won Ji-an! Their characters in the Korean thriller are yet to be disclosed.

The production for “Squid Game Season 2” is reportedly set to begin later this year, but its premiere date is still unknown.
