DINNER OR SUPPER?

It was quite late when we had our last meal for the day, which meant the evening had deepened and was colder. A search for  comfort food was initially satisfied by Bruschetta which worked well with an aperitif.

Idly, as guests (nearly 150 heads at dinner alone) were just winding up, our table was being prepared for the main course. Mae chose a very delectable Tender Braised Lamb Shank With Autumn Vegetables In Rich Red Wine Sauce. The name itself was a mouthful while the flavors started to send my world whirling again. And the mashed potato… wasn’t a mashed potato but Polenta (ground corn).

As much as we were likely to finish the last dessert plate of Lemon And Lime Cheesecake minutes before closing time, we requested to have it brought to our room so we could rather relish it by taking slower bites.

The same way when you want to take a piece of a wonderful experience with you…

That if Mae and I should ever lose our way when in Manila, then all we have to do is follow that delicious smell stronger than any GPS signal that would lead us to My Kitchen hence we should know exactly we’re in a haven of deli!
