Muvela’s Place: Combining Nature and Modernity in One Restobar Cafe

Once you’ve decided where to settle, take a look at their extensive menu and order Muvela’s Place’s bestsellers! They pride themselves for their Chinese cuisine, but they offer comfort food and cocktails, as well.

Start off with their best-selling finger-food: Cheesy Dynamite. These are really big jalapeno rolls filled with cheese and ground meat. It’s a nice dish for a starter and even non-spicy lovers will greatly approve of it as it has the right amount of hotness to it.

We had their Flaming Chicken next. We wondered why it is called that, but once served, we figured out why. They light up the chicken right in front of you, so you will see how the flames beautifully engulf the meat. Served with gravy, I liked its tender and flavorful, quite charred taste.

The Grilled Liempo is a bit on the sweet side. It can be eaten alone as pulutan.

Their house specialty, the Muvela’s Canton Special, is one of our favorites! It certainly does not lack in ingredients, and is big in servings – so tasty and good!

The most sinful of everything that we’ve tried, I have to say, is the Crispy Pata. Though a bit oily, the meat is luscious and succulent.

The most intriguing item on the list, though, is the Lumot with Cheese. What in seven hells is Lumot with Cheese? It turns out lumot is a kind of squid. Don’t be intimidated by the name. It’s actually a surprisingly delicious dish that you’ll only find at Muvela’s Place.

Of course, to complete the banquet, who can forget dessert? We had their Banana Split, served with different ice cream flavors, candies and sprinkles and a drizzle of chocolate syrup. This comes in a big serving, too, so sharing is definitely recommended. If you are a big dessert lover, though, you may want to devour this alone.

We also tried some of their cocktails! Here are our recommendations:

Aside from all of these, there is a soon-to-open salon and spa in their front building. The space of the place is super maximized with its wide landscape and everything that you’re looking for in terms of unwinding. Everything’s affordable and sulit, from the food and drinks to the rent of their facilities. Your trip here will surely be worth it.

The freshness of modernity, the healing touch of nature, the intimacy of your personal space, the rugged charm of a favorite hangout, the smooth vibrancy of a private resort. It’s the simple promise of Muvela’s Place, along with the comfort of simple, great-tasting food, service and wholesome pleasures for every guest. Gather your friends and family together and enjoy your retreat home away from home.
