Modern Family star Sarah Hyland just announced on her Instagram account her engagement to The Bachelorette alum. If you ever need proof that you might sometimes lose out on one thing to gain what’s meant for you, then this might just be it. Or it could also be proof that meeting someone on social media is totally valid for a relationship since the couple first started talking on Twitter!

The two began flirting through Twitter in 2016 but officially started dating in the fall of 2017. They then moved in together in August of 2018. Rumors of engagement have actually been floating around since December of 2018, so with nearly 2 years under their belt, the news shouldn’t really come as a surprise.

Wells Adam posted his own announcement, marking the occasion with some video clips of the proposal and celebratory photos. The engagement ring he chose is believed to be a Lorraine Schwartz and values up to $200,000 or over Php 10 million.
