Mavy Legaspi has shared his thoughts on the recently viral moment between Darren Espanto and Kyline Alcantara on “It’s Showtime.”

In the widely talked about clip, Kyline had just finished performing “Save Your Tears” by The Weeknd and Ariana Grande when Kim Chiu pointed out how attentive Darren had been the entire time.
“Habang kumakanta ka, mayroong nakatingin sa ‘yo, di siya kumukurap—si Darren. Sabi niya, ‘Ang galing pala ni Kyline talaga,’” Kim told Kyline.
“Alam niyo po kung bakit? Kasi nga…” Kyline answered before turning to face Darren.
Darren laughed, asking Kyline what she meant. Kyline kept egging him on, saying “Sabihin mo!”
Vice Ganda then jumped in to tease the two. “Sa susunod na kayo ni Darren kumanta, kanta daw kayo ‘We Are Family.’”
Jhong Hilario, meanwhile, pointed out that the pair’s potential love team name “feels nice to say.” “Kyline? Darren? Parang ang sarap sabihin na DarLine,” he said.

Mavy, however, assured everyone that he and Darren were on good terms despite the teasing.
“I have no problem, kasi Darren and I are very close friends,” Mavy told “24 Oras” reporter Aubrey Carampel last Friday. “Again, what you see on TV is what you get. Pero behind closed doors, nagme-message message kami ni Darren, so we’re very good.”
Cassy Legaspi, meanwhile, also clarified that the relationship she has with Darren is purely platonic despite being romantically linked with each other.
“It’s so hard to explain what we have pero best friends talaga kami,” she explained.
She also defended her mom Carmina Villaroel from controversy, explaining that Carmina often shares inspirational quotes and bible sayings on her social media pages and that they aren’t meant to target anyone in particular.
“Speaking for my mom na lang, si Mommy kasi nagpo-post lang siya ng mga quotes. Random, as in, araw araw may mga inspirational quotes. Minsan nga mga Bible verses kasi wala lang, trip lang ni Mommy. It really has nothing to do with anything and anyone,” she said.
