Marian Rivera Opens Up About the Work Habit She Dislikes Most in a Colleague

Marian Rivera revealed the one characteristic she dislikes the most in a colleague.

In a podcast episode with Janno Gibs and Bing Loyzaga, Marian admitted that she cannot stand colleagues who are always late during tapings.

“Alam ng lahat ng katrabaho ko kung ano ‘yung ayaw ko talaga (All my co-workers know what I really dislike)… always late,” she shared.

She explained, “Pag sinabi sa’kin na ang call time ko ay 7, before 7 nandoon ako. Ang point ko kasi is naaawa ako doon sa mga crew na mas maagang dumarating ta’s naghihintay [tapos] sila pa rin ‘yung last na umuuwi (If I’m told my call time is 7, I make sure I’m there before 7. My point is that I feel sorry for the crew who arrive earlier and end up waiting—then they’re also the last ones to go home).”

In the same podcast episode, the 41-year-old actress shared that although she is more active on social media than her husband, Dingdong Dantes, she keeps much of her personal life private. She also told Janno and Bing that she has grown accustomed to receiving hate comments.

“Ako nasanay na ako eh (I got used to it),” the actress said. “Ang pangit nga nung term na ‘nasanay’ kasi may mga pagkakataon na parang sasabihin mo na ‘Pagbibigyan mo ba ‘to o hindi (It sucks that I got used to it because there are instances when it feels like you’re asking, ‘Are you going to allow this or not)?'”

However, she is thankful to Dingdong for reminding her that receiving hate comments from bashers is a part of their jobs as actors: “Nevermind them. Just go with the flow.”
