Maiqui Pineda Responds to Robi Domingo’s Birthday Wish About Wanting to Have a Baby: “It’s both our goals”

Maiqui Pineda clarified that she has “no issues at all” after her husband Robi Domingo shared his wish for his 35th birthday on Instagram, which drew mixed reactions from online users.

On September 30, Pineda asked her followers to send in questions through her Instagram account after Domingo’s birthday post received overwhelming responses. Later on, an Instagram user asked her how she felt about her husband’s post.

“No issues at all… It’s both our goals, our plans, and our wishes but we acknowledge the reality of things and have chosen to trust in God’s plan and timing instead,” Maiqui said, stating that they are hopeful for whatever is going to happen.

“But the prayers and support mean a lot. So thank you!!!” she added.

On September 27, Robi turned emotional as he reflected on his life upon reaching his 35th birthday. In his birthday video, he shared his hopes of becoming a father and leading a normal life with Pineda, who is currently battling a rare autoimmune disease called Dermatomyositis.

The TV host also remarked that he wanted to introduce a child as a part of his plans in the next five years, “My plan in the next five years is to be a better house-band and husband and hopefully next year when the Lord permits it and when her condition permits it, depende sa clearance ng doctor, I hope to introduce you to a baby Robi as well or baby Maiqui or why not twins, him her.”

However, he emphasized that his only birthday wish is for his wife to recover instead.

“First things first, I want Maiqui’s sickness to be gone so we can go back to our original plan and it’s my wish for my birthday. It’s not for me anymore,” Robi said. “Maybe it’s not time yet, not yet. But I am hoping na mangyari ‘yun.”

In November 2022, Robi proposed to Maiqui in Shibuya Crossing in Tokyo. They tied the knot in Bulacan in January 2024.
