Maine Mendoza and Gab Pangilinan Win Asian Television Awards

Maine Mendoza and Gab Pangilinan are among the 27th Asian Television Awards (ATA) winners! The artists represented the Philippines at the event last Thursday at Aliw Theater in Pasay City.

Mendoza was named Best Entertainment Presenter/Host for her program “#MaineGoals” on Cignal TV’s Buko channel. Meanwhile, Pangilinan won the Best Leading Female Performance (Digital) category for her role in Viu’s “Still”. The musical series also won Best Original Screenplay by writers Patrick James Valera and Mihk Vergara. Unable to attend the ceremony, the award was accepted by Julie Anne San Jose.

Catriona Gray hosted this year’s Asian TV Awards along with Enchong Dee, Wallace Ang, Kantapong Bumrungrak, Hani Fadzil, and Chu Qin Kai. She also accepted the Best Original Digital Entertainment Program award for “Top Class: The Rise To P-Pop Stardom,” which she hosted and was nominated in the Best Host/Presenter (Digital) category.
