Madonna marked the 40th anniversary of her self-titled debut album with a cheerful video of her dancing to her 1983 hit single Lucky Star.
“To be able to move my body and dance just a little bit makes me feel like the Luckiest Star in the world! Thank you to all of my fans and friends! You must be my lucky stars too! And Happy 40th Birthday to my very First Album,” she captioned in her Instagram post.
The “Queen of Pop” stunned in a sheer black top and pants paired with fancy glasses. On July 27, she surprised her fans with the release of Lucky Star (Remixes), which features three versions of Lucky Star.

Following her hospitalization due to a serious bacterial infection on July 24, Madonna announced that the North American leg of her tour would be rescheduled, while the European leg would start in October 2023 as planned.

In a previous Instagram post, she thanked her fans for the prayers and support and assured them that her health is getting better as she continues her recovery.
“Thank you for your positive energy. Prayers and words of healing and encouragement. I have felt your love. I’m on the road to recovery and incredibly grateful for all the blessings in my life,” she wrote.
Madonna is set to hold The Celebration Tour in North America and Europe in October 2023.
