Beware of transacting with seemingly legitimate businesses online!
One of our WhenInManila.com readers, Justine (not her real name), shared with us a recent experience wherein she got scammed by a Facebook page from which she wanted to purchase a luxury bag. She claimed that after sending her payment, the page blocked her and did not send the bag she supposedly bought.
“I purchased a Gucci bag from the page and after my payment (they even posted it on their page) I was blocked and no bag was delivered to me,” Justine said. “Now upon searching, a lot has been scammed. And until now the page is still ongoing in making deceiving posts.”
