A lot of Filipino players are enthusiastically waiting for the official release of Pokemon Go in the Philippines.
The Pokemon Go hype is real and even when it was not released officially in the country, some avid players tried workarounds to access it. However, there is notmuch to do in the game as the local servers aren’t yet live. Still, you can check out certain aspects of it ahead of time.
Additionally, there have been rumors spreading that it will be out in the country.
However, this is the official statement from Pokemon Go developer Niantic according to a post on ign.
“The team is currently heads down working on the game. We do not have any announced plans for countries beyond New Zealand, Australia, US and Germany at the moment.”
