On February 5, BTS unveiled the fourth version of their official light stick. The light stick features new functions and an advanced wireless control system, as well as an updated design.
According to the official announcement, the upgraded Light Stick features improved wireless control, with an expanded range of displayable colors and effects that are more closely coordinated with stage lighting. This also allows users to check their light sticks before the concert and see how they will light up in sync with other sticks around them.
Additionally, there’s a new “Color Shaking” feature that lets users randomly change the color by shaking the light stick. Users can also select and save their preferred colors in Self Mode within the app, which can be used as a mood lamp at home or however they wish.
The Version 4 support period will begin at the Busan concert on June 12. Meanwhile, support for Version 3, SE, and Version 4 will continue only until the BTS WORLD TOUR “ARIRANG” concert in Las Vegas on May 28.
The upgraded light stick comes five years and 10 months after the previous MAP OF THE SOUL Special Edition (SE) release.
For ARMYs looking to purchase the newest version, a separate announcement will be made on Weverse Shop on February 6.
BTS is set to return to full-group music activities with a much-awaited album and world tour. The album will come out on March 20, which marks the group’s exciting return to full-group activities after more than three years.
Meanwhile, the world tour will kick off in April. Then, the boys will reunite with Filipino ARMYs for a two-day show in March 2027.
