We’ve heard of kuyas coming to the aid of their little sisters time and time again. Whether it’s comforting them about a boy who hurt them or just generally showing them how they should be treated, your kuya can be the guy you depend on.
This is especially true for this young lady, Lu Asey Oyao, whose older brother went above and beyond to create her a stunning gown for her JS prom.
Maverick Oyao created this incredible gown all by hand. Yes. By hand. With the help of his mother to sew some of the elements together. His little sister later cried upon seeing it. Wow!
Maverick Oyao (known as “Mave”) is a Bachelor of Culture and Arts Education student from Western Mindanao State University and he really seems to know his stuff. Not only is he a visionary in terms of creativity, but he’s also smart about spending. Apparently, the gown only cost PHP 3000 to put together. He made the gown for his baby sister because they couldn’t afford an expensive one for her prom. So sweet!
