With the first episode of Game of Thrones finally premiering, it’s pretty much all that everyone’s talking about right now… or not talking about it because of spoilers. But nevertheless, the hype is still real. It’s so real that now we even have our own version–in an art form, at least.
Gpao Villeza shares his own version of what he thinks should be the Pinoy cast of a Game of Thrones version set in the Philippines. He then creates fan art depicting these characters, and they are amazing!

He even adds the story behind each choice as a caption.
Take a look at some of them below:

Yassi Pressman as Daenerys Targaryen because she literally looks like the character.

JC de Vera as Jon Snow. The artist shares that Jon Snow was one of the hardest characters to “cast” but he ended up with JC because of Jon Snow’s “vulnerability” which he also saw in the Pinoy actor.

Daniel Padilla as Joffrey Baratheon because he’s a great actor and the artist believes that he can pull off a cruel character like King Joffrey.

Dagul as Tyrion Lannister. ‘Nuff said.

Dawn Zulueta as Catelyn Stark because she can get the sympathy a protective mother deserves.

Richard Gomez as Ned Stark because Dawn Zulueta is his Catelyn. The Dawn-Richard tandem is still alive!

Tirso Cruz III as Tywin Lannister because no one else can play that role.
The artist shares in the post that he had the idea when he was just hanging around in his house. He imagined what a Game of Thrones Pinoy remake would look like. And thus, his “Laro ng Trono” album was born.
Fans are pretty torn about the choices but it’s undeniable that the art is insanely good! Be sure to check out the full album here because there’s a whole lot more to these!
