LOOK: This jeepney’s got WiFi, a CCTV and a Videoke, entertaining happy passengers!

This driver wants to make sure his passengers make the most out of their trip with his jeepney.

Citizen Mar Fernandez took it to his Facebook accountย how overjoyed he was to see the installed facilities of the public utility jeepney he rode on the way home.

He captions:

“Kagabi: Yong pagod ka galing trabaho, pag uwi mo ganito masasakyan mong jeep. Aliw! Haha. May CCTV, pag di ka nagbayad, huli ka! May Videoke, libre pamasahe pag ika’y kumanta. May tatlong magkahiwalay na buzzer para di na kailangang sumigaw ng ‘paraaaa’. Ang matindi, may pa-wifi pa!ย 1f602????1f602????. Salamat sa jeep ni Koyaaaย 1f602????1f602????1f602????”

(Rough translation:
Last night: That moment when you’re exhausted from work, when the time comes for you to go home you encounter and hop on a jeepney like this. [I’m] overjoyed! Hehe. There’s a CCTV [installed], if you don’t pay, you’re caught! There’s a Videoke, you don’t need to pay for your fare if you sing. There are three separate buzzers so that you don’t need to yell ‘paraaaa’. That’s not all, there’s also WiFi [installed]! I’m thankful for the jeep of Koyaaa!)

He also indicated through a hashtag that it was a trip from Baclaran to Sucat.

WHEN IN MANILA has reached out to Fernandez for further details.

“I was on my way that time to Sucat, pauwi po ako sa Lucena (dahil long weekend) pagod at antok. Nawala lahat ng yon, ni hindi ko nga po namalayan nakalagpas na kami sa area ng traffic sa Sucat highway, lol. Yong lalaking kumakanta ay galing sa bar, medyo nakainom na din habang kumakanta. Ako naman, bukod sa na entertain ako kay kuya, na enjoy ko na din ang mabilis na wifi, nakapag system update nga ko ng phone ko. Kakaiba.”

(Rough translation: I was on my way that time to Sucat, I was going home to Lucena because of the long weekend; tired and sleepy. That all went away [when I rode this jeepney], I didn’t even notice we surpassed the traffic area at the Sucat highway, lol. The guy singing came from a bar, he was already tipsy. I, on the other hand, other than being entertained by kuya, enjoyed the fast Wifi. I was even able to update my phone’s system. The experience was really something else.

We hope to take a ride on your awesome jeep, Kuya!
