The Farm incorporates its several water-based features, fitness trainings and wellness facilities in order to provide a rejuvenating and customized treatment journey. Luckily, we were able to visit the resort and here’s how our tailor-fit wellness vacation went.

Instead of the usual hotel rooms, The Farm has private villas. With over 9 villas to choose from, the guests can opt for traditional-inspired and rustic tree houses, garden villas and even those with their own pools.

We stayed at one of the Narra Pool villas and we had the luxury of enjoying a private swimming pool, outdoor terrace, king-sized bedroom and a daybed. We also had a palatial bathroom with a bathtub and two individual toilets with a private garden view. Handmade complimentary products, such as coconut soaps, lemongrass, sea salt & coconut oil body polish, and virgin coconut oil, were also available. All these were produced from The Farm’s organic coconut plantation.

After settling down, we then proceeded to the Holistic Sanctuary for a medical consultation with Dr. Michelle Carbonell. The session started with a holistic health conversation which revolved around life goals, challenges and concerns. It was then followed by a life coaching activity where Dr. Carbonell helped us confront our issues and find a way to solve them.

The Farm is also known for its vegan cuisine. From breakfast to dinner and appetizers to desserts, all meals are prepared with health and happiness in mind. Not to mention, they only use nutritious and all-natural ingredients which are hand-picked from their organic gardens.

They also have a Jungle Gym for those who would like to burn calories or sweat a little. The whole room is equipped with professional workout amenities and even has a view of the lush San Benito ridge.

After sweating and stretching, we then enjoyed an hour of immense pleasure and relaxation during the revitalizing full body massage. Aside from that, our wellness experience was complemented with a three-part hydrotherapy treatment at the Acqua Sanctuary.

The first sequence started with a sauna, steam bath and ice cold shower. It was then followed by pressurized vitality showers, Flotation pool and Vichy shower treatment; and then finished with pressurized jacuzzi pool, Japanese onsen bath and Kneipp.

Out of all these, our favorite was the Flotation Pool where we had to float in water mixed with Magnesium salt similar to the Dead Sea inside what seemed like a capsule. This unique type of hydrotherapy simulates zero gravity which enabled us to engage in a deep meditative state. It was really peaceful and relaxing.

Aside from treatments, several activities, such as yoga sessions, power walks, fitness trainings and food preparation talks are also available and their daily schedules are announced every night. We attended the flower mandala arrangement class and it was amazing.

All in all, we had the loveliest weekend during our entire stay at the resort. Thus, if you seek to rejuvenate your mind, body and spirit, we highly suggest you to break away from the stress of urban life and enjoy a holistic healing program tailored to your personal needs at The Farm at San Benito.
