Most of us are planning to retire from our jobs by 60 years old and enjoy life to the fullest. At the same time, we also want to be able to earn and save enough money to give back to our parents and make sure that our grandparents are just relaxing and stress-free.
However, this is not the case for Lola Maria Malanom. At the age of 90 years old, she is still striving hard, carrying big baskets of candies everyday which she will sell for a living.
According to a Facebook post made public by Bernadette Castillo Fernandez, Lola Maria is from Pangapisan Sur, Lingayen. She is usually seen selling her special candies around the Land Transportation Office (LTO), Lingayen branch.
