If you’re a fan of Stardew Valley (or other similar farming simulator games for that matter), you might want to sit down before reading this. According to creator Eric Barone, a massive physical collector’s edition for the game is coming later this year and all the items that are coming along with it are guaranteed to make your jaw drop.
The physical release, which is set for the Nintendo Switch and the PC, features the following in its standard edition box: a physical copy of the game, a mini illustrated guidebook, and reversible cover art.
However, the collector’s edition is the one that will knock your socks off. Other than the physical game, you’ll also get a deluxe six-piece wooden standee made from responsibly sourced birch and cherry wood, a wooden lapel pin, a 14-page Junimo comic, a Deed to your farm featuring gold-foil details on paper made from 30% recycled straw, and a cleaning cloth housed all together in a sturdy, high-quality Collector’s Edition box.
