Last April 22, 2017, indie junkies from all over the metro came together for what was the longest gig yet to ever exist, and enjoyed OPM indie artists ranging from folk to acoustic to rock for Red Ninja Productions’ 8th Birthday.
Red Ninja has been known to bringing some of the country’s finest indie artist to different places all over Metro Manila, and for this event, they brought together artists like Ben&Ben, Reese Lansangan, Typecast, Tom Story, Sud, Miles Experience, Jensen and the Flips, among others.
Banna Harbera kicked off the event amidst the heat
Folk-pop duo Ben&Ben sang their hit single, “Ride Home”
The heat was intense that day, but the tune of the amazing bands that were set to perform did not stop fans from lining up. Starting at 2PM, Banna Harbera kicked off the show, followed by Ben&Ben, Coeli, Shadow Moses, Tonight We Sleep, tide/edit, Tandem `91, Moonwlk, Gracenote, Reese Lansangan, Rob and the Hitmen, Typecast, Run Dorothy, TheSunManager, Fools & Foes, Over October, Runaway Crimes, Hilera, Lions & Acrobats, Tom’s Story, MilesExperience, Sud, and Jensen and the Flips.
Fans came not only to celebrate with Red Ninja, but to also celebrate and support independent OPM artists
At the last act, Jensen and the Flips partied the night away with the crowd. The people from Red Ninja were on stage. The event was made more worthwhile when the rain poured during the last song.
