With the President’s utmost passion to obliterate illegal substances in the country, it’s quite obvious that many who are involved in it would do their best to hide away.
Some might have already fled the country and some might be hiding in isolated places.

Cars can only travel in limited areas. The police force can’t take their vehicles all around mountains and forests, so these guys had a better idea.
These policemen in Marawi opted to ride horses instead in order to search around the isolated areas in the province. We’re not entirely sure if their search was successful or how their search turned out, but one thing’s for sure: this was a clever idea.
