Since winning the Miss Universe crown in 2015, Pia Wurtzbach has proven herself to be very versatile. From actress to model to spokesperson, this beauty queen has certainly dabbled in a number of fields. A few days ago, she surprised her Instagram followers by revealing yet another area of interest — gaming.
Pia Wurtzbach posted a photo on her Instagram story of a simple set up with her MacBook and Groot mug next to it. On the screen was a DOTA display. Superimposed on the photo was the caption “It’s a DOTA kind of night.” The Instagram story has already expired, but you can check it out from the screenshot we were able to take below:
Reddit users quickly got on the story and talked about how the former Miss Universe considers herself a gamer. Aside from DOTA, she’s previously revealed that Final Fantasy and Kingdom Hearts are some of her favorite games. She even extensively talked about the Final Fantasy series on her AMA thread:
It’s great that, even unintentionally, Pia continues to show us we shouldn’t box people into stereotypes. Even beauty queens can be gamers!
