It’s been seven years since Paul Walker passed away, but his daughter Meadow still remains close with her godfather Vin Diesel and his family. Walker and Diesel famously starred in the Fast & Furious franchise, which spans eight released films from 2001 to 2017.

On Instagram, Meadow shared a photo of herself with Diesel’s kids Pauline (named after Walker), Hania, and Vincent. Meadow captioned the photo with, “family forever.”

Walker and Diesel called themselves brothers. When Walker passed away, Diesel wrote a tribute on Facebook, saying, “I wish you could see the world right now… and the profound impact, your full life has had on it, on Us… on me. I will always love you.”

Walker passed away due to a car crash while raising funds for victims of Typhoon Haiyan (Yolanda) in 2013. He passed away in the middle of filming Furious 7. Filming was delayed for script rewrites, and his brothers Caleb and Cody were used as stand-ins for his scenes. The film’s final scene serves as a touching tribute, with Dominic Toretto (Diesel’s character), saying, “No matter where you are, whether it’s a quarter mile away or halfway across the world, you’ll always be with me. And you’ll always be my brother.”
