At this day and age, makeup is no longer just associated with women. It has evolved in a way that is beyond enhancing one’s outer beauty with various trending styles from drag and optical illusion, to editorial and prosthetic, and so much more.
This July 4, a local brand will be launching gender-neutral cosmetic products that are inclusive and cruelty-free.
‘Becoming RIZilient’ is the brainchild of Rizelle Malangen, a gender-equality advocate, with the help of her friend and creative director, Bianca Ruiz.
According to them, part of their proceeds will go to charity. One of them is LoveYourselfPH, an HIV charity, while the other one will be chosen by their clients. So yes, you can also choose to support a charity close to your heart once you purchase any of their lip tints.
This quarantine gave me that time. It’s amazing how it all turned out. We’re excited since part of our proceeds will go directly to charity.We chose LoveYourselfPH because they are creating positive ripples in our society by providing free HIV testing, counseling, and medicines to those in need.The second charity will be chosen by our clients, every purchase we will ask them which charity benefits from their purchase and we will tally the votes.I’m planning to change the charity every quarter to accommodate every request.
