Barbie has showcased countless looks since she was introduced to the world but nothing compares to the first ever outfit she wore.

When she was launched at the American Toy Fair in New York City in 1959, the iconic doll wore a black and white striped swimsuit, a pair of white sunglasses, gold earrings, and her signature ponytail.

It’s this look that Janella Salvador recreated in her latest Instagram post. In the photos, she wore a similar swimsuit, sunglasses, earring, and ponytail. She even copied Margot Robbie’s pose in a key scene in the Barbie movie.

The actress wrote, “And of course… Vintage Barbie.”

Salvador previously shared photos of her as the iconic doll, this time in looks inspired by the movie.

She wrote, “When @carissacielomedved wakes up and decides to turn you into her Barbie doll.”

In another, she said, “This Barbie can drive (you crazy).
