According to Deadline, de Leon is in talks to portray Madam Alex, a bold and complicated character described as “half mentor, half tormentor.”
The film is set in 1993 Los Angeles and follows Heidi Fleiss (Aubrey Plaza), who becomes infamous for running one of the biggest high-end prostitution rings in the world. Along the way, she crosses paths with Jacolyn (Alana Haim), an aspiring writer determined to tell her story, setting off a wild mix of ambition, power, and betrayal in the glittering chaos of L.A. life.

De Leon has been steadily building her name in international cinema since her breakout performance in the Palme d’Or–winning Triangle of Sadness, which earned her BAFTA and Golden Globe nominations. She’s also appeared in Ghostlight and Between the Temples, and is set to return in Netflix’s Avatar: The Last Airbender (Seasons 2 and 3) as well as Apple TV+’s Maximum Pleasure Guaranteed alongside Tatiana Maslany.
