LOOK: Dog visits the sunflowers along University Avenue, QC

Most of the time, you find happiness where the sun shines! This time of the year, along University Avenue in Diliman, Quezon City; radiates the wildest and brightest sunflowers in time for the commencement exercises for the Class of 2017.

UA&P fresh graduate Dino Robles took it to his Twitter account the time when he took his dog Lumen out to see the beautiful sunflowers along University of the Philippines before bringing her to the veterinarian.

Lumen is a three-year-old Goberian – a Siberian Husky and Golden Retriever mix.

WHEN IN MANILA has reached out to Robles for further details.

“Our dog, Lumen, has been under the weather for some months now. She’s gone in and out of the clinic, and at some point, was even confined there for a while. It’s a tough ride for everyone in our family knowing her health is in question, but at the end of the day, the difficulties brought about by her illness are still toughest on her. Regardless, she’s been a trooper from the start. She has been so obedient and brave through all the changes in diet and medication she has seen. So seeing the sunflowers in UP one day while we were on the way to the vet was an opportunity we simply could not miss – an opportunity to celebrate her life with us and the color she’s brought into our home, come what may.”

Isn’t that the sweetest?! Get well soon, Lumen! <3
